Main Structure of Kinshasa Central Market Project in DR Congo Capped

On January 23, with the completion of the last concrete pouring, the main structure of the Central Market project in Kinshasa, DR Congo was officially capped, marking a significant milestone.

This project is located in Gombe District in Kinshasa City with a construction area of about 78,000 square meters, consisting of mobile booths, shops, a cold chain warehouse, logistics, food plaza and others. The foundation form of the project is a pile-cap foundation with a design life of 50 years. The external structure is a three-layer frame structure, the internal mobile booth area is a 2-3 three-layer mushroom-shaped concrete roof structure, and the wall construction technology is a plain brick wall. Since the start of construction in September 2022, the project team has adhered to high standards, overcoming challenges such as construction during the rainy season and tight supply, pushing the progress, and ultimately completing the main structure on schedule.
